National Instruments Thunderbolt 3 Male-to-Male Cable
The NI Thunderbolt 3 Male-to-Male Cable is designed to support communication between external peripherals and a computer or controller using Thunderbolt 3 protocols. This cable has identical Front End and Back End connectors. These connectors are 24-Pin, Male USB 3.1 Type C connectors. The Thunderbolt 3 Male-to-Male Cable can support passive or active data transfer speeds of 40 Gbps or a passive data transfer speed of 20 Gbps. This cable is available in two lengths: 0.8 meters and 2 meters.
Part number 787580-0R8 is 0.8 m with a sustained throughput of 40 Gbits/s, while part number 785607-02 is 2 m with a sustained throughput of 40 Gbits/s. The last part number, 785608-02, is 2 m, but has a sustained throughput of 20 Gbits/s. With this cable, you will be able to connect a broad range of external devices to control and automation equipment. Though the connectors of this cable are identical to the ones that are found in ordinary USB 3.1 cables, up to 10 Gbits/s bandwidth can be achieved through a USB 3.1 cable.
